Biochemical Assay Production Associate
Position Objective As an associate production scientist, the successful candidate will manufacture and perform quality control testing of high throughput biochemical assays in the areas of kinases, nuclear receptors, proteases, drug safety, and ion channels. A background in biochemistry or a related scientific discipline is required. The candidate should be detail oriented, self-motivated, and excel in a team environment.Essential Functions• Apply laboratory techniques to manufacture and perform quality control analysis of biochemical assays designed for high throughput screening. • Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results • Apply basic scientific principles to assist in trouble shoot problems• Interact with other departments (i.e. R&D, Quality Control and Distribution)• Respond positively to changing priorities.• Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve standard laboratory techniques.• Edit manufacturing protocols and SOPs• Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures • Be highly organized and detail orientedEducationRequires a Bachelor's in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacology or other related disciplines.
