Bids and Proposals Coordinator

Primary Purpose :
In this role the individual will be responsible to coordinate and prepare price quotes, letters, and bids/proposals within Contracts Department and Field Sales. Provide administrative support to Sales Management, Contracts & Bids Manager, and Contracts Department. Work with Customers, Management, Sales Force, and various in-house personnel and resources regarding bid/product related issues and questions. Provide Sales Management and Contracts & Bids Manager with updates and information as requested. Complete vendor registrations and check requests. Perform other department projects as assigned.

Competencies :
To qualify for this position the candidate must posses a minimum of High School Diploma in addition to:

1-3 years administrative/office experience; Strong organizational, communication, and attention to detail skills Ability to interact with all levels of the organization Bids/Proposals experience desirable Strong computer skills – proficiency with Word, Excel, databases, and the internet are essential Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize work, and work independently
