Associate Scientist - Quality Engineering

Function:

1. Performs a wide variety of laboratory analyses to support the manufacturing and releasing of a chemical or product.

 

Accountabilities:

1. Conducts testing of chemical components or products.  Testing will involve use of major laboratory instruments and equipment such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/VIS as well as utilizing wet chemical skills.

2. Conducts analytical review of data to ensure calculations are complete and accurate.

3. Management and completion of department reports and analysis within a timely fashion.

4. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field from a four-year college or university is required.

2. Minimum one to two years related experience and/or training in a laboratory environment. 

3. Must be able to organize and prioritize work in order to accomplish tasks assigned.
