Associate Scientist-QC (molecular or biochemistry)

We are recruiting a contract to hire position for our growing biotechnology client as follows:Summary of Responsibilities Responsible for various quality control and manufacturing support activities.  This includes items such as raw material QC, final product testing, stability testing, and design and execution of manufacturing troubleshooting experiments.  In addition, the role involves active participation in projects to improve manufacturing processes.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities â€¢  Follow documented processes to perform QC experiments.•  Investigate root cause,  propose and implement solutions to manufacturing issues with support of Operations and R&D colleagues•  Analyze, interpret and present data•  Participate in manufacturing process improvement teams and real time stability program•  Perform general manufacturing and laboratory maintenance activities•  Document new and revise current operating procedures for quality control and real time stability   as needed. Education, Experience and Skills Specific requirements include:•  BS in biochemistry, molecular biology or related area ( MS desirable )•  2 to 3 years  lab experience in molecular biology or biochemistry essential•  Experience in gene expression assays and equipment desirable•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills required•  Strong attention to detail required•  Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation programs QUALIFIED AND INTERESTED CANDIDATES: Please email your resume to Pleasanton@LabSupport.com .
