Forest offers competitive salaries, progressive benefits programs and a supportive work environment that thrives on teamwork.  The following position is available in our growing Pharmaceutical Research & Development Division in Long Island, NY:  Associate Research Scientist, Bioanalytical  (Job ID # 93646) Bioanalytical and Drug MetabolismFarmingdale, NY Description of Duties and Responsibilities: · Develop bioanalytical methods to support pharmacokinetics, toxicokinetics and ADME studies.· Candidate will also assist in reviewing study protocols, evaluation of literature data, review study documents from research partners and contract research organization. · Candidate is responsible for preparing method and study reports, position paper and/or submission documents, and interacting with pharmacokinetics, toxicology, and QA groups Requirements:· Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field or MS degree The thesis of graduate school with emphasize on mass spectrometry is desirable. · 0-2 years (with PhD) or 3-5-years (with MS)  of relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry.  · Candidate must have first hand experience in bioanalysis that include instrumentation (LC-MS/MS, and HPLC), chromatography, solution chemistry, extraction techniques (e.g.  SPE and automation (liquid handler, 96-well format)), and electronic LIMS.· Candidate should have a broad knowledge in Good Laboratory Practices, product development, PK and drug metabolism. · Candidate should have the ability to work in a project team environment, have excellent oral and written communication skills. · Good leadership skills are desirable. Forest offers generous compensation packages, comprehensive training programs, stock options and profit sharing, progressive benefits and a diverse and dynamic workplace.  Please note as your source in the text of your resume
