Associate Research Scientist In this role you will need extensive knowledge and hands-on experiences in analytical chemistry, analytical instrumentation and related scientific fields. You will work in a team environment, planning, designing and executing multiple experiments to solve technical and scientific problems in marketed pharmaceutical products and manufacturing plants. You will also provide effective technical leadership to other scientific personnel in the laboratory. Additionally, you will call for high levels of skills in blending various scientific disciplines and communicate with quality, regulatory, manufacturing experts to timely solve complex problems.To be successful in this position, you must possess: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Science is requiredMinimum of 2 -4 years of pharmaceutical experiences, depending upon degree Solid understanding of cGMP practices in pharmaceutical industryIn-depth knowledge and extensive hands-on experiences in modern analytical instrumentation such as HPLC and GC Experience in plant and marketed product support is preferredOur people make Hospira an organization of stature, and we’re proud of our accomplishments.
