The company has over 2,200 employees in the Bay Area, dedicated to every aspect of biotechnologyPOSITION DESCRIPTIONPerson at this Associate II position will be acting as the primary technical expert for the Learning Management System (LMS) at the Emeryville site and providing support for GMP training and Quality Technical Training.Learning Management System:-Manage the day-to-day operations of the LMS-Manage LMS change control and upgrade activities-Provide guidance on the curriculum development to area management -Provide technical support to training developers from Quality and other departments that will utilize the LMS-Provide basic and intermediate end user support & troubleshooting, escalating as necessary. -Act as the primary liaison between QA Training and the LMS Training Coordinators (TCs) to ensure a consistent implementation of LMS processes -Provide on-going assistance to LMS TCs-Collaborate with site LMS TCs to improve the efficiencies of end-user and administrative processes-Creation of training materials and any other associated documentation to assist both students and LMS TCs in the use of LMS such as tipsheets, e-learning, classroom training, etc. GMP and Quality Technical Training:-Apply knowledge of instructional design to the creation, design and implementation of training materials and programs, including e-learning and classroom training-Develop, build, and maintain instructional materials to support the learning and business needs of Quality-Collaborate with subject matter experts on course content and create proposals for strategy, design, scope and time for each assignment-Consult with co-workers, subject matter experts and others in the design and development of training materials-Develop, test and implement e-learning programs that are executed in LMS-Provide internal consulting or needs assessments to individuals or departments on development opportunities that will enhance the skills/competencies of employees -Deliver GMP training and Quality Technical Training as needed-Stay abreast of new technologies and trends in the fields of learning and human performance improvements and participate in professional organizationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTSBachelor degree or equivalent experience in the pharmaceutical/biologics industryA minimum of 6-years related experience for candidates with a Bachelor degree.Master Degree in Instructional Design or Instructional Technologies is a plus.A minimum of 4-years related experience for candidates with a Master degree--Familiar with e-learning authoring tools. Experience with Lectora is a plus-Familiar with Learning Management System. Experience with Plateau LMS is a plus-Proficient in computer applications and technologies-Ability to manage multiple projects with the ability to prioritize tasks between each one-The ability to work well independently and in a team environment-Ability to implement and manage priorities in ever-changing environment -Ability to analyze gaps and opportunities and develop effective, strategic learning solutions-Attention to detail, strong customer service orientation-Strong organizational and communication skills.-Ability to deliver instructor-led training on GMP topics as required.
