Associate Director/Director/ Research Fellow/Neurodegeneration
This position can be tailored to the candidate, relative to their interests
towards a managerial or scientific focus. Currently we are working on
targets in Huntington's Disease, however we do not seek an expert in this
area.
We are looking for a seasoned leader to join our department to help drive
the growth of the neurodegeneration area of focus. This exciting opportunity
calls for someone who has a deep and broad expertise in the area of
neurodegeneration, with at least 5-7 years of experience.
Industry experience is essential along with demonstrated success in project
leadership and advancing drug candidates into the clinic. Superior skills in
organization and communication are required, while experience in biomarkers
would be preferred.
You would be responsible for building disease biology in the area of
neurodegeneration, and lead a group of in vivo biologists. Reporting to the
Head of Biology, you would be responsible for project and external
collaboration leadership and contribute to the development of our
neurodegeneration strategy. This position is in San Diego with a premier, mid-sized, publicly traded bio-tech company.
