Associate Director/ Director, Health Economics San Francisco, CA; Lake Forest, IL, or Chicago, IL The chosen candidate will work strategically with clients regarding health economic strategies, proposals and project/study design and execution. Support business development activities, such as the development of research strategies, plans, proposals and budgets; client solutions; and client capabilities presentations. In this role, you will develop research plans and economic models, conduct analyses, and prepare draft and final reports, abstracts, and manuscripts. You will also be required to develop and/or coordinate the development of product dossiers. Design and develops pharmacoeconomic models, including decision analytic models, cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models, and disease treatment models as well as design and conduct retrospective database studies. Provide technical oversight and guidance to research and research support staff. Serve as an internal expert and key resource for research design, methodologies, analytic techniques and reporting of health economic studies. Supervises and mentors Senior Research Scientists and Research Scientists. The ideal candidate will have superior organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks when appropriate, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate must have a broad knowledge of health economics research, health policy, and health care consulting, as well as strong leadership qualities with an interest in helping others to succeed. The position requires strong conceptual, quantitative, writing and verbal skills, including the ability to interact positively with clients and staff at all levels. An advanced degree in health economics and outcomes research, pharmacy, medicine or allied science, epidemiology, biostatistics, or health services research, and a minimum of five years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consulting industry is required.
