Position Title: Associate Director of Biostatistics

Location:  Caldwell, New Jersey area

Responsibilities, Challenges, Expectations and Deliverables for this position:

 In a nutshell, you will be responsible for the overall strategy, timely execution and delivery of state-of-the-art statistical input and services in support of Phase I, II, and III clinical trial programs and exploratory data analysis/data mining activities.Responsible for the statistical methodology needed to conduct Phase I, II, and III studies.Manage and lead the statistical components of protocols which meet project objectives, FDA guidelines, and clinical trial methodology standards.Manage and select CROs.Provide direction/leadership to programmers and statisticians.Collaborate with Data/Analytic Directors in developing and executing exploratory data analysis/data mining projects.

Experiences, Skills, Accomplishments and Qualities Desired:

 PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics is highly preferred.5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical clinical research. 3+ years experience programming in SAS or S+ for statistical analysis. Experience filing an NDA is desirable.  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across therapeutic areas. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience managing CROs essential.
