Assistant Professor / Imaging Processing and Imaging Clinical Trials
The Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Radiology is seeking a multidisciplinary scientist at the Harvard Medical School Assistant Professor level to lead several initiatives, including medical image processing, computational imaging, imaging biomarkers, and imaging clinical trials. The appropriate candidate must possess extensive research experience in medical imaging (including MR, CT, and PET), image processing (image reconstruction, enhancement), computational science (parallel computations), drug development, and clinical trials; a minimum of 5-years experience beyond the PhD, a proven research track record with publications and/or patents, and in-depth knowledge and experience working with imaging biomarkers and imaging clinical trials. To facilitate and manage the anticipated growth of these various initiatives, the ideal candidate should have superior management experience (preferably an advanced business degree), extensive history of working with industry, knowledge and working relationship with the U.S. FDA, as well as experience in an academic setting.
