Assistant Editor

ASSISTANT EDITOR.   Current Medical Research and Opinion® (CMRO), the world’s leading peer-reviewed, ultra-rapid publication journal for research in clinical pharmacology is seeking an Assistant Editor interested in a rewarding role in medical publishing.  This individual will assist the Managing Editor and Publisher in virtually every aspect of the publication process including gathering, tracking and reviewing manuscripts; formatting and copyediting reviewer comments; timeline management; proof reading; and other duties as assigned.  The successful candidate will have previous editorial and publishing experience and be highly experienced with Microsoft Office and database management software.  Salary will be competitive.  CMRO, now in its 37th year, is a publication of Informa Healthcare which serves the pharmaceutical, medical device, animal health, academic, and medical communities.  We offer an excellent benefits package including 401K.  If you are a self starter and team player looking for excellent career growth in a friendly environment, please send your resume and cover letter to Dorothy Pennachio, Managing Editor at dorothy.pennachio@informausa.com .
