Our customer is a global pharmaceutical firm engaged in the discovery, development, manufacturing and marketing of products worldwide. Summary: Our customer is looking for a candidate with experience in aseptic surgical techniques and animal handling/dosing. Responsibilities: • Assist in setting up and maintaining state-of-the-art laboratories for conducting cardiovascular and respiratory system function tests in animals • Evaluate effects of experimental compounds and drug candidates on organ function dynamics in appropriate animal or isolated tissue models • Participate in investigative research with an emphasis on development of new techniques and procedures • Summarize/analyze and interpret data in regulated environment and assist in preparation of reports • Utilize computer based telemetry systems for data collection and data analysis • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and all data produced Qualifications: • BA/BS in Biology or related field • Experience with aseptic surgical techniques, vascular catheterization and animal handling/dosing preferred • Ability to work independently and experience with data acquisition systems (DSI, PoNeMah) and data interpretation preferred For immediate consideration please contact April Abrego at april.abrego@yoh.com .
