Analytical Chemist- Great Benefits Offered
Our San Diego Life Science client, one of the successful leaders in the biotech industry, has an exciting opening for an Analytical Chemist. Responsibilities include:- Validate, qualify and transfer analytical methods - Perform ongoing GMP stability testing and method transfer - Executing release testing on raw materials, intermediates and final drug product - Interpret analytical data to support advancement of the development of drug candidates - Participate in meetings, conference calls, and other interactions with clients - Use a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature, USP and ICH guidelines. - Follow and prepare necessary SOPs Job Requirements:BS Chemistry or Life Sciences along with experience in the skills listed below are required: 0-2 years of experience in analytical techniques such as HPLC, dissolution, wet chemistry, UV/Vis spectroscopy, and Karl Fisher analysis. Knowledge of GLP and GMP regulations Strong written and oral communication skills, strong PC proficiency, and the ability to multitask Excellent laboratory techniques High attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team Must be an independent thinker with the ability to plan and execute duties with minimum supervision. Experience levels include 1-3 years of industry/academic experience. Relocation is not offered for these positions, only local candidates will be considered.
