Analysts/Regional Analysts

The Analyst performs daily data collection to obtain information related to or resulting from the emergence of infectious human and/or animal disease. The position requires linguistic and cultural familiarity with various regions of the world and requires the ability to write concise, tactical assessments of identified events as related to the public health in the region or responsibility.The Regional Analyst performs daily data collection to identify early signs of infectious human and/or animal disease. The Regional analyst will be in charge of managing and supervising other analysts,reviewing and integrating the products of other analysts, and providing quality control.RequirementsA strong sense of teamwork and collaborative work practice is necessary. Multiple language fluency, particularly in French, Spanish,Chinese, Hebrew, Farsi, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, or Vietnamese is highly desirable, as is extensive academic or personal experience in area of responsibility.A Bachelor's degree in social science, public health or related areas is required. For the Regional Analyst, an advanced degree is preferred.
