Administrative Assistant III Research
The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) was founded in 1961, and is one of the largest private, non-profit biomedical research facilities in the country with over 3,000 employees. At the forefront of basic biomedical science, the Institute has made major contributions to the betterment of health and the human condition.
TSRI currently has an Administrative Assistant III Research position available. The Administrative Assistant III will provide administrative support to two Principal Investigators and lab staff. Grant and manuscript preparation, maintain grant accounts, order lab and office supplies, process administrative paperwork and correspondence, vendor liaison, handle travel arrangements, budgeting, and other duties as assigned.
Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years related experience or equivalent training and/or experience. Good organization and communication skills with excellent work ethic. Ability to work in a high pressure environment. Advanced computer skills including MS Office, PowerPoint, and Acrobat. Must have ability to learn new software such as End Note, Reference Manager. Professional level typing/editing skills.
Advanced Macintosh skills are strongly preferred.
