The Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) is a non-profit organization focused on developing earlier diagnostics and smarter treatments.

Translational genomics research employs innovative advances arising from the Human Genome Project and applying them to the development of diagnostics, prognostics and therapies for cancer, neurological disorders, diabetes and other complex diseases.

 



Brief Posting Description

 

Performs various administrative functions for management and department.

Detailed Description

Performs various administrative functions for management and department. Organize travel arrangements (involving air, hotel, and car rental) for department head.  Arrange requested meetings for managers in the department. Maintain detailed calendar for department executive. Compile and analyze basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepares charts, graphs, or tables as necessary. Receive and respond to routine correspondence following established procedures. Perform ad hoc projects as assigned. Administers programs and/or processes specific to the department. Organize and maintain finance files.

Job Requirements

 

Requires ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions.  May require typing, CRT, record keeping, book keeping, or word-processing.  May have need for good communication skills.

High School Diploma

1 Year Minimum Job Related-Experience
