CITY/STATE: Carlsbad, CAPOSITION TYPE: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Administrative/ClericalEDUCATION LEVEL: High School or equivalentSALARY: 12.00 - 15.00 USD /hour Administrative Assistant- Biotech Are you known as being a team-player with amazing work ethics and distinguished integrity?  Administrative Assistant to Project Coordinator needed for growing biotech/manufacturing company in Carlsbad.  Works as a team with one or more lab personnel.  Works directly with vendors regarding orders and international shipping and receiving.  Types all correspondence into database and maintaince database.  Requests estimates, code, sub quotes, and initial surveys.  Prepares purchase orders for review by the project coordinator.  Has a working knowledge of project tracking, keeps dates and notes on every job entered and follows up on requested items.  Prepares files for order entry and job closings (checks for all necessary items and follows up on missing items).  Becomes familiar with contacts.   When directed coordinates tradeshows and coordinates meetings. The primary function of an Administrative Assistant is to relieve the Lab Personnel and Project Ccoordinator’s workload in order for the project coordinator to concentrate on customer contact. This description is not all encompassing and will include other duties as assigned.  Daily attendance is of the utmost importance.  Must have hands on international shipping/receiving experience for a manufacturing company!  There is room to grow in this position!
