2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Lannett Company, Inc. is a rapidly-growing leader in the manufacture of generic pharmaceuticals. We are seeking a highly talented and self-motivated individual to join our team as a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic in our Maintenance Department.

 

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines and equipment.

 

Responsibilities Include:Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective partsExamine form and texture of parts to detect imperfectionsInspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirementsAdjusts functional parts of devices and controls instrumentsStart devices to test their performanceSet up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder and other metalworking tools to make and repair partsBe able to follow GMP’s and SOP’sPreventative maintenance on all equipmentSome paint and building work

 

The successful candidate should be able to independently set-up machines. Should be familiar with the following equipment: various mixers, blenders, various mills, roller compactors, tablet machine, encapsulation machines, metal detectors and dedusters. Must be able to pass company paid background check.
