Hedge fund, programmers, developers, IT, development, finance, C++, Java, back testing, equity derivatives, software development, OO, object oriented, real time, multi threaded, data analysis,trading, MSc, Masters, PhD World leading hedge fund are looking for C++ and Java programmers to join its trading analytics team. Responsibilities will include the implementation of algorithmic strategies, the development of back testing frameworks, tools and grid computing and the development of equity derivatives pricing to support risk management. The candidate must have 1-5 years software development experience in Finance, exceptional IT skills in a variety of object oriented languages and be an expert in C++, Java and Unix/ Linux. Strong knowledge of computer science theory including algorithms is essential. Solid experience building real time multi threaded systems in C++ is a bonus. Quantitative capabilities, understanding of data analysis techniques are necessary also as is the ability to write significant amounts of code within large systems.
