Has a thorough knowledge of the assigned product area and advise more senior managers on business requirements, market conditions, and industry trends of products/ user attitudes. Closely track their team's activities to ensure tasks are completed on time and comply with business strategy/ standards (i.e. proposals, investments, and OLAs). Use independent judgment to make decisions where no clear precedents exist. Technical Requirements Specifications (Functional Oriented) and Definition of the expected delivery - Creation of a detailed design document (supported by Core Engineering) - Creation of Work Orders towards Core Engineering - Product Evaluation (support Core Engineering) - Creation of a Feasibility Studies (supported by Core Engineering) with a recommendation - Functional Validation to ensure the adequate quality of the Products/Deliveries from Core Engineering - Obtain the security / risk assessment regarding the recommended solutions - Perform competitive benchmarking of products and implement findings - Monitor and assess ongoing industry technology trends per individual product. Your job will give you the opportinity to work within the Windows Product Management and Engineering team as a Windows Technical Product Manager. The IT Technical Product Management function is responsible for product evaluations and product life cycle management, from the design and introduction of a new product through to its decommissioning. This function has a strong understanding of the business requirements, market conditions, and industry trends of products/user attitudes to ensure the development of proposals and investments are aligned to the business strategy.
