Web / SharePoint Administrator
Our client is seeking to hire a Sr. Systems Engineer that will support their web infrastructure primarily focusing on SharePoint Administration. This position will provide support to include installations (both hardware and software), configuration, performance tuning, systems maintenance, code migration, troubleshooting and monitoring of software, security, procedures and patches. The right candidate will be an organized self starter, who can work in a process/procedure based environment. They must be a team player. The right candidate is a thorough and responsible administrator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Job Candidate Experience: • Experience with web infrastructure with a focus on SharePoint. • System engineer experience with five to seven years industry experience with at least three of those years providing web infrastructure support in a windows environment. • Minimum one year experience administering SharePoint in a corporate environment. • Bea Weblogic administrationExperience with the following Web related technologies: IIS, FTP, HTTP, DNS, SSL Certificates, HTML, XML, CSSExperience with any of the following platforms is a big plus: • NetApp storage equipment and/or NetBackup version 6.0 or above. • Scripting experience (VB, PERL, JavaScript, SQL Query Language, etc). Other experience racking servers, changing disk drives, motherboards, memory etc. Microsoft certification, MCSE, is a plus. SharePoint Certification a plus. Company: Modis, Inc.
