Web Analyst/Programmer - SQL

CO-OP Financial Services, the nations largest EFT Network and processor is seeking a Web Analyst/ SQL Programmer.

 

The Web Analyst/SQL Programmer will perform programming and analysis in support of the company’s internet, intranet, and extranet applications.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include :

 

Consult with end users, peers, and contractors to analyze requirements, problems, and procedures, evaluate alternatives, and specify preferred solutions.

 

Convert project specifications and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language.

 

Develop application prototypes to be approved by the project sponsor and project team.

 

Create or modify programs necessary to maintain and enhance functionality of web sites and other application, troubleshoots system issues and maintains web site integrity on an ongoing basis.

 

Perform comprehensive unit and system testing of modified applications in close coordination with the Supervisor of Applications Development.

 

Deploy and implement applications of varying complexity.

 

Create and/or revise user and system documentation manuals.

 

Train users on software usage on-site or in a formal training environment.



QUALIFICATIONS

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

·  4 years web programming and analysis, and 2 years of SQL programming experience required. 

 

·  Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology required.

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

 

·  Ability to work with individuals of all levels and varying technical skills. 

 

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

 

·  Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.  Ability to work with minimal supervision.

 

·  Expert knowledge of HTML and JavaScript

 

·  Working knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 2k3 server, SQL 2005, IIS, Microsoft Access, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio, Cold Fusion, Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat, Monarch, Crystal Reports, VSS

 

·  Basic knowledge of Photoshop
