Responsible for creating and implementing an employee training strategy across the wealth markets organization.  Work with the business unit executives to develop and implement training to employees within Wealth Management.
Develop, implement and manage the wealth markets training program for UBOC. Provide direction and strategy to market executives on training needs within their organization. Work closely Human Resources to understand areas of development, succession planning, and internal resources. Stay abreast of external market conditions, and competitor intelligence on innovative training strategies. Act as the liaison with Corporate Training in the implementation of training programs and in the development of career planning for the wealth markets space. Develop and implement the operational procedures for delivery of training to the various lines of business. Design the curriculum, workshops, and tools to develop a core wealth markets training program, with the end goal of having a “wealth market university”. Manage the training certification process, as well as monitor the enrollment and advancement of training programs. Develop communications strategy for the wealth markets organization. Work closely with business unit executives to develop a communications strategy to ensure UBOC is staying current with market conditions, competitor intelligence and industry best practices.

 Typically requires a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Someone who thoroughly understands the tools and strategies necessary to lead and develop a wealth markets training program. Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and implementing a training program in a financial services organization. Must be a team player who believes in accountability and must become thoroughly familiar with UBOC, its wealth market strategic priorities, and will work closely with senior executives. An understanding of the wealth space in large financial organizations. Proactive and proven experience in understanding changing market strategies and best practices in other organizations. Ability to persuasively present and communicate strategies and programs throughout the organization.
