Vice President, Sales Support

The Vice President is responsible for managing the sales support department and the sponsor key account area.   Duties:    Oversee the firms key account function including planning, reporting, revenue and goal setting with sponsors. Oversee the day to day activities of the sales support staff. Develop marketing plans for the following areas: mutual funds, variable products, alternative investments, retirement plans, investment analysis tools and technology education. Establish plans to help advisors select the appropriate products to meet their client's goals and objectives. Establish and maintain goals for increasing advisor revenues. Set and maintain service standards for advisors. Develop and maintain educational programs for defined segments of advisors. Participate in the analysis and approval of new products for LPL and the affiliated broker dealers. Develop and maintain budgets for the department and the key account area. Participate as a member of the firms Management Committee.   Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) and at least 6 years of experience in management of a similar investment area.
