We are currently searching for a Portfolio Manager for our Business Banking / SBA department.

Vice President/Portfolio Manager – Alhambra, CA

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the overall management of the SBA loan portfolio within the Business Banking Group, includes ensuring proper processing of SBA loan requests under the SBA 7(a), 504, and Express loan programs with emphasis placed on compliance with all applicable banking and SBA regulations and underwriting in accordance with the bank’s and SBA’s policies and procedures.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Minimum of five years experience in SBA or commercial lending related capacity, formal SBA or Commercial credit training is a plus. Must have ability to analyze financial information and credit reports, evaluate risk of SBA loan requests and prepare recommendations regarding credit structure and terms. Good knowledge of underwriting criteria, account profitability computation, general banking policies/procedures and management techniques.
