For more information, please visit www.prudential.com This position will hold ownership responsibility for managing the implementation and execution of key strategic partnerships within Prudential's new International Retirement business. The successful candidate will be a proven leader and have expertise in a broad range of critical areas, including directing and holding responsibility for large-scale projects, building strong partnerships with internal and external entities, providing strategic direction to project managers, identifying and communicating project risks to senior management, and establishing processes and systems in line with business objectives. International project management experience would be a plus in this position. Primary Responsibilities: * Sets the strategic direction and vision for large-scale business initiatives with ultimate accountability for execution excellence and financial results. Serves as the bridge between executive sponsors and extended core and working teams to achieve desired results. * Leads large, challenging, enterprise-level, inter-area initiatives and implements avenues for continual improvement to existing and new businesses * Leads and coordinates relationships with resources inside and outside of the company, including interfacing with external entities (i.e., vendors, consultants, corporate and end-clients) and creating and maintaining strong partnering relationships. Includes coordination with cross-cultural, multi-language team members * Provides strategic direction to core and working teams in the development of business and systems requirements, project plans, resource allocations, schedules, and innovative solutions to complex problems * Identifies material challenges, implements mitigating factors, and notifies senior management of risks associated with the successful completion of the initiative and/or risks to the enterprise * Establishes processes and systems to support long-term program maintenance, including relationship management and growth, documented operating procedures, business controls and financial metrics * Ensures program execution is consistent with long-term strategic goals of the business unit and related partnerships * Results-oriented professional with 8-10 years in the financial services industry, variable annuity, wire house and/or mutual fund experience preferred * Attention to detail with extraordinary business analysis and problem-solving skills * Exceptional business judgment and strategic leadership * Proven ability to create strong relationships with key partners across departments, business units and companies * Subject matter expertise in product, information planning and/or operational support * Experience in project management and/or process management * International project experience a plus * Ability to travel internationally, approximately 10 to 20 percent * Bachelor's degree required The Prudential Insurance Company of America and its affiliates, Newark, New Jersey are Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employers and are committed to diversity in our workforce.
