VP, Lending

A fast-growing $105 million community credit union in Central Texas with an uncompromising approach to excellent member service and an aggressive strategic plan, seeks a proven lending executive desiring a professional, fast-paced environment where creative ideas are welcomed!

Reporting directly to the President/CEO, and serving on the senior management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing and overseeing the strategic and daily loan program business activities to include loan origination and acquisition of direct, indirect, mortgage and commercial loans as well as managing growth plans for every loan product/category. In addition, this individual will continually monitor and analyze all facets of the loan portfolio, and will ensure loan-related sales goals are met.

This person is also responsible for:
* Performance of the credit union's loan portfolio
* Ensuring the portfolio performance meets expectations
* Providing the CEO with meaningful and accurate portfolio reports for inclusion in the monthly ALICO (Asset/Liability and Investment Committee) and Board packets
* Developing new loan products and services, evaluating product performance, ensuring loan add-on products are sufficiently profitable, and collaborating with the marketing department to ensure all marketing programs pertaining to lending are well-executed and effective
* Developing loan policies for review by management, reviewing loan performance and delinquency rates, and managing all asset recovery functions
* Ensuring that all loans originating throughout the credit union meet loan underwriting standards and policy limitations

Requirements:
5-10 years experience plus extensive knowledge of consumer lending. Knowledge of real estate lending ideal, commercial lending experience a plus. Bachelor’s degree required.
