Underwriter Consumer Loan UnderwriterDenver, CoIn an automated, centralized underwriting environment, this position reviews, evaluates and approves, denies, or counter-offers loans within established authority.Looks at problems and suggests solutions that will benefit the member and credit union.  Possesses a minimum of two years of experience in a similar position in consumer lending.Is knowledgeable in both secured (auto, recreational vehicles, 2nd mortgages, HELOCs) and unsecured (lines of credit and signature) loans.  Is knowledgeable of all appropriate state and federal regulations.Possesses a thorough understanding of credit reports and is capable of quickly analyzing the information for trends and creditworthiness.Is highly detail orientated, extremely accurate and possesses the ability to make fast and sound decisions.  The position works a flexible schedule which includes Monday – Saturday and some evenings.Public Service Credit Union is a fast growing financial institution with branches located throughout Denver Metro and Northern Colorado Areas.  We offer a competitive salary with a great benefits package including medical, dental, disability, life/AD&D insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, and 401(k) with employee/employer contribution.  For consideration, please forward your resume and salary history to: Public Service Credit Union7055 E.
