POSITION SUMMARY: Generate sales revenue for the Trust by focusing majority of daily activities on outside calling to attorneys, CPAs and financial advisors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a client portfolio of 200+ client relationships consisting of Personal Trust and Employee Benefit accounts Manage a book of relationships including all new relationships sold by Officer Work with Trust Sales Manager to develop sales strategies to attract new Trust Clients and to expand existing Trust relationships Develop and expand Center of Influence referral network to sell FMB Trust products to COI client base. Act as representative for all First Midwest banking services with Center of Influence network Assume administrative responsibility for a selected group of accounts. Meet with clients for the purpose of discussing their needs and benefits of our services, expand client relationships, and review investment performance Achieve annual negotiated performance standards Monitor account activity and portfolio mix to ensure that established investment guidelines are always met Assist other trust officers, as needed with knowledge and insight of various trust topics In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive benefits package for all full-time employees including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, pension, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, life insurance, generous vacation allowance, paid holidays, personal days, EAP, free employee banking with payroll direct deposit and more. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required 7-10 years previous sales and client relationship management experience in the financial services industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Strong sales and networking skills required PC literate and knowledge of Metavante Trust system required Knowledge in the areas of personal trust, employee benefit sales and investments
