Trust Operations Assistant

Grand Bank & Trust, a locally owned and managed community bank offering a wide array of banking services and lending products as well as personal service and an outstanding employee-centered work environment has an immediate opening for a Trust Operations Assistant to work at their Palm Beach Gardens branch office.

 

This important position, reporting to the Trust Operations Officer, is responsible for performing a wide range of duties such as client financial record keeping/bill paying, opening and maintaining trust accounts, transferring assets, coordinating mailings and working on special projects as assigned.

 

Specific duties include but are not limited to:New account processing and set-upAsset review, reporting, transfer and follow-up as per client needsClient record establishment and maintenanceTickler system creation and follow-up to include account distributions, inventories, statutory distributions, fee/inspection/tax reporting, insurance renewals, and account specific requirementsAccount transaction audits and reviews, and cash balance monitoringClient/attorney/accountant/beneficiary request and response communicationMiscellaneous duties as assigned to help ensure sound bank operations and profitability

 

The ideal candidate for this very varied and responsible opportunity will have a minimum of five years experience as an assistant handling operational duties in a financial services or trust company dealing with high wealth clients.  Extensive business experience is required as well as an outstanding command of the English language and above average written and verbal communication skills.  The qualified candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a comprehensive knowledge of computer software applications to include word-processing, and spreadsheet creation.  Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, well developed problem solving skills and a passion for accuracy are all absolutely essential for this position.
