The company provides commercial banking services through Colorado Business Bank and Arizona Business Bank; trust and fiduciary services through CoBiz Trust; property and casualty insurance brokerage and risk management consulting services through CoBiz Insurance; investment banking services through Green Manning & Bunch; the management of stock and bond portfolios for individuals and institutions through Alexander Capital Management Group and Wagner Investment Management; and employee and executive benefits consulting and wealth transfer services through Financial Designs Ltd.  Colorado Business Bank is currently seeking a Sales Officer I for the Treasury Management Services Department located in our downtown Denver corporate office.  We offer a friendly, professional work environment, an excellent starting salary and an outstanding benefit package, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition assistance, computer purchase and stock purchase plan.  A free EcoPass is offered to all Denver employees. General Purpose: Responsible for generating revenue from Deposit growth and selling Treasury Management solutions to clients and prospects.  Works as a team member with bankers to provide expertise for the non-lending needs of business clients.  Assists bankers with relationship management activities including customer service, periodic relationship reviews and retention activities.  Essential Functions: Â¨ Supports the bankers in all aspects of the sales process to include customer profiling, analysis pricing models, FTP pricing models, service proposals and sales presentations.¨ Acts as a knowledge resource for bankers and customers regarding cash management processes, best practices, products and services.¨ Networks with bankers in order to help drive the sales process, offer creative ideas, provide TMS updates, and contribute to the banker’s sales efforts.¨ Using Customer Relationship Management software, maintains a database of prospective and current clients to include service profiles, and current position in the sales cycle.¨ Provides Client Services with detailed and accurate documentation necessary for high quality service implementations.¨ Exercises awareness in regards to suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior as it relates to cash transactions and overall transaction activity and document any such behavior so SAR filings can be considered.¨ Ensures compliance with all regulations including but not limited to BSA, Reg D, Reg E, Reg P, Reg CC, Reg DD and unclaimed Properties. Other Functions: Â¨ Works with Product Development on product, business development and marketing projects.¨ Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: Knowledge, Skill and Ability: Â¨ Demonstrated sales skills with proven results.¨ Strong analytical and problem solving skills and abilities.¨ Strong knowledge of Treasury Management products and services.¨ Excellent written and oral communication skills.¨ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.¨ Ability to manage work flow and meet deadlines.¨ Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.¨ Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team. Education or Formal Training:  Â¨ Bachelor’s degree in a business related field (or equivalent work experience, which is defined as a minimum of five years experience in banking and/or business analysis).  Experience: Â¨ Minimum five years experience in banking, with some emphasis on Treasury Management Services. ¨ Past sales experience.¨ CTP and AAP designations desirable Working Environment / Physical Requirements/Activities: General office environment; therefore, must have the ability to operate bank office machines/equipment with hands and the ability to use and type on computer keyboard.  Must also have the physical ability to use the telephone.  Must understand questions/concerns raised by parties involved, in person and over the telephone.  Must be able to read job-related documents.  Must have the physical ability to stoop, bend and lift up to a maximum of ten pounds.  Must have the ability to transport self to on-site client meetings with customers at customer locations.
