Training Specialist II
Facilitates Companywide training and development programs which impact the strategic goals of the business unit. Uses a variety of learning and delivery methods. Assesses training needs, measures results, and develops training programs, curriculum, and materials to address training issues. Consults with business unit managers to assess needs, design programs, and implement training and development programs. Leads a variety of training/Company project teams. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.Requirements: 4-year degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 3-5 years directly related training experience demonstrating a knowledge of training and adult education techniques is required. Strong presentation and facilitation skills are required. Knowledge of training practices and principles of adult learning theory. Can assess operational objectives and design appropriately targeted material in an efficient manner minimizing lost productivity time. The ability to perform needs-assessment for business units is required. The ability to rapidly take on and deliver new training programs while maintaining current projects is required. The ability to analyze training feedback and appropriately modify training programs is required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are also required. Computer literacy and proficiency in common PC applications is required.
