Facilitate/deliver advanced and challenging courses, with ability to flex with dynamic material or position material differently according to audience. 2. Facilitate/deliver all delivery methods including: virtual classroom ILT, conference calls, coaching, mentoring, on-the-job training, small group sessions and supports managers with advice on facilitation and coaching. 3. Partner with managers to regularly review goals and performance needs, determine needs for established courses/regular curriculum for scheduling purposes, and to reveal needs for new development to be discussed with Design group. 4. Deliver pilot programs and train-the-trainers, and provides coaching and mentoring support for novice trainers. 5. Partner with design team on revisions and development of new programs, providing subject matter expertise, communication with clients, review of materials and advice based on their experience and knowledge of adult learning theory. 6. Collaborate with other trainers, support personnel, peers, and vendors on projects. 7. Learn new programs and facilitate/deliver outside typical area of expertise and/or standard curriculum. 8. Can be assigned to projects pertaining to curriculum design or school development in order to validate operational integrity or a process improvement to pilot new courses as needed. 9. Can evaluate and assess performance issues through a consultative process and recommend and assist with the implementation of interventions to correct issues. 10. Assist management in evaluating training effectiveness and makes recommendations to enhance or improve curriculum as well as assist in staff development. 11. Contact instructors from other institutions to exchange knowledge of techniques and program. Provide feedback and recommendations to Management regarding the findings. 12. Provides day-to-day technical and/or functional support to other trainers such as making recommendations for product delivery. -Expert facilitation and presentation skills. -Ability to work independently and proactively with problem solving skills -Strong applicable business knowledge and experience -Specialist level knowledge of adult learning theories and facilitation techniques. -Basic knowledge of design and development of course material to support design team and program integrity. -Basic knowledge of performance technology/consulting. -Has a consultative approach to our customer’s business needs, is able to develop and present appropriate curriculum and consistently provides solutions for performance issues. -Facilitate/deliver all methods of learning delivery at a Specialist level, applying principles of adult learning theory. -Expertly manage difficult participants, fast and slow learners, difficult situations and complex content. -Assist management in the evaluation of training effectiveness. -Facilitate/deliver pilots and train-the-trainer sessions, and coach other trainers, in order to assist with the development of their delivery skills. -Provide technical and functional support to other trainers at a basic or proficient level by answering questions and critiquing training presentations. -Work independently and solves problems with moderate supervision or coaching. -Flex with dynamic material or position material differently according to audience. -Customer service techniques and sales concepts sufficient to inspire more sales of bank products. -Basic knowledge of eLearning, enabling facilitator to support blended learning methods. -Leadership and interpersonal skills allowing facilitator to build relationships with colleagues, training participants and clients to ensure success of training initiatives. -Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. -Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience. -1-3 years training delivery experience, or equivalent related experience in one or more program areas (e.g., sales, lending, deposit, management development and/or investments depending upon the business line supported).Washington Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
