Trade Finance Sales Specialist
Our International Department in Covina is seeking an experienced and dynamic sales specialist to contribute to the Bank’s growth and profitability by sourcing new corporate trade relationships and providing trade advisory services to existing clients. This product specialist and ambassador of the International Department will partner with Relationship Managers to assist in closing new corporate trade relationships by meeting the financial service needs of middle market commercial companies whose primary business is foreign trade or international commerce; assist in cross-selling all associated banking services including loans, depository accounts, and other fee generating services; support Relationship Managers in managing the credit process related to qualifying new trade borrowers and managing existing trade credits; comply with the Bank’s credit values; identify, classify and monitor problems or potential problem loans in compliance with the internal credit review policy; and conducts educational product seminars for commercial line officers and/or prospects/clients as needed. Qualified Candidates will have a B.S. Degree in Business Administration with a minimum of 10+ years of active market solicitation and solutions orientation in the area of export/import trade finance. Solid product understanding involving letters of Credit, Trade Cycle Finance, and Eximbank Working Capital Guarantee Program required. Ancillary experience or familiarity with Foreign Exchange and Structured Finance a plus. Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with all levels.
