Top Investment Bank Looking for top class C++ programmer for automated systems group
C++ developer, C++, quant developer, quantitative, quant, IT, C++ programming, Unix, C#, Java, PhD, computer science, multi-threading, multi threaded, clustering. World class investment bank is looking to add a highly talented C++ developer to join the quantitative developer team within the automated systems trading group. You will be involved in implementing improvements to the existing automated trading platform to attain higher execution efficiency. The ideal candidate should be a highly skilled object orientated programmer with at least 3 years experience in a similar type of role at a top bank or Hedge Fund. The position will be adapted to suit more experienced candidates wishing to apply. You should have experience on both the UNIX and Windows platform, and in addition to C++ you should also have experience using some of the following languages: C#, .NET, awk, Java, Python and ODBC. You should have worked on projects using distributed systems, multithreading, multiprocessing and clustering techniques. A PhD in computer science or related discipline will be viewed favourably but is not essential. The most important requirement for this position is to be a world class C++ programmer.
