Title Operations Supervisor
Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the supervision of the operations work flow, staffing requirements and organization of work assignments for the referral area, maintaining appropriate personnel to meet all deadlines and provide excellent customer service to a discriminating customer base.
Principal Accountabilities: 1. Coordinate work flow to assure all customer requirements are followed explicitly and staffing levels are adjusted appropriately to meet deadlines and respond to all customer requests or inquiries. 2. Supervise assigned personnel, allocate work, make recommendations regarding employment, performance appraisals, training & development, corrective actions, promotions & terminations, assuring that decisions are according to established company policies and/or precedents. 3. Prepare various statistical reports and assist with special projects. 4. Review difficult or challenging situations and provide guidance to staff. 5. Monitor production and other reports for information regarding department performance, so to take appropriate and pro active measure to maintain department performance in accordance with company goals. 6. Assist the manager with the training schedule and activities of the team to assure all employees are properly trained to attain the highest potential and produce at levels that will enhance the future success of the employee and the firm. 7. Perform additional duties as requested.
Position Preferences: 1. College degree in Business, Accounting or Finance 2. Minimum 5 to 7 years title company, mortgage banking mortgage servicing or financial operations experience 3. Min 1 year supervisory experience 4. Must be highly computer literate and capable of adapting readily to a variety of new systems. 5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
