Teller/New Accounts/Customer Service

Performs a variety of branch operations duties including accepting deposits, processing lockbox deposits, balancing, opening new accounts, inputting customer information and transactions into various systems, processing confirmations and filing. Will maintain logs, files and records and be responsible for mailing information to customers. Will assist customers with their banking needs, and respond to questions from customers, account officers and other employees. Provides back-up support to other staff members. Prior branch operations experience including teller and new accounts experience. Knowledge of new accounts documentation, and the requirements for opening new accounts, as well as knowledge of compliance issues pertaining to Branch operations. Experience with Metavante/Kirchman Bankway system a plus. Good analytical, organizational and mathematical skills. Ability to plan, organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, despite numerous interruptions. Excellent interpersonal skills with proven commitment to quality customer service. Ability to deal with a wide variety of individuals in person and via telephone. Strong verbal communications skills. Accuracy and attention to detail required.
