Teller - Full Time and Part Time

We are currently seeking Tellers for various locations on the South Shore. 

 

As a Teller you will make important contributions to our success by personally representing the bank to our customers. You will work in a pleasant branch atmosphere in a team environment helping our customers with their banking transactions such as cashing checks, accepting deposits and selling Travelers Checks. You will research and answer questions about customers’ accounts and solve banking problems. You will provide information about banking services and identify opportunities for the sale of bank products and services. You will represent the bank professionally.  Tellers are continually in the public eye and professional dress is required. We provide two weeks of paid training in the basics of the job. Further training is through on-the-job exposure, academic programs and company courses.

 

There is ample opportunity to learn and to advance to higher level positions based on your interest in getting ahead and ability to learn. We have a strong tradition of promotion from within. 

 

(Most often Tellers start as Peak or Part time employees although full-time positions are frequently available. Usually there is an opportunity to go full time within 6 months of starting as a peak  or part time Teller.)

 



Requirements:

Candidates should have prior teller experience or cash handling and customer service skills.  Candidates should be sales oriented, like to work with people, project a professional image, have keyboard familiarity and be able to process transactions quickly and effectively
