We here in Milwaukee are the premier vendor for one of the nations leading financial services firm. * Under general supervision, write and edit technical communications, bulletins, and/or manual updates for client-facing documentation, publication, and internal reference * Using FrameMaker, generate, compile, produce, and verify PDFs for small and large documents and multi-volume manuals in preparation for publication on paper and Extranet * Research and analyze business scopes and functional specifications, attend project status meetings, if necessary * Conduct formal and informal reviews with appropriate department contacts * Coordinate, compile, and produce communications and manual updates for final publication and distribution * Develop documentation that contains audience-appropriate technical content and structure within specific deadlines Highly experienced in the Technical Writer capabilities. An extremely competent individual capable of identifying user documentation needs in a highly complex project and addressing those needs through appropriate tools or media. Technical Writers are responsible for working with subject matter experts and documenting mainframe and/or Web-based feature functionality. This can include researching and formulating content to produce and maintain high quality, accurate documentation. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make technical information easy to understand * Ability to work under pressure * Quality conscious and able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously * Ability to learn new software applications and complex business processes * Knowledge and experience with Adobe FrameMaker, Acrobat, and Microsoft Word required * BA/BS degree in English, Technical Writing, Business Administration, Banking and Finance preferred5-7 years exp in technical writingBA/BS degreeKnowledge of FrameMaker Experience with Financial Services Software communications and manuals preferred Email your resumePlease click here,or copy and paste the following link into your email browser, to email your resume.
