Team Leader (Supervisor), Trustee Operations

Team Leader – Trustee Operations Countrywide Bank Recon Trust performs non-judicial foreclosure and lien release services to Countrywide, and its affiliates, as well as provides similar services to investors and mortgage lenders throughout the country. We currently offer foreclosure trustee services in non-judicial states: California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, Montana, Utah, Alaska, Virginia, Idaho, Arkansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Mississippi and Texas, with plans for expansion into additional non-judicial jurisdictions through 2009. Primary Responsibilities Include:· Supervising a team of Trustee Specialists to ensure processing of Foreclosures in assigned states and to ensure that established productivity and quality standards are met· Establishing team goals and objectives· Communicating departmental/divisional goals and objectives· Monitoring, tracking, measuring, reporting and communicating results· Evaluating hiring needs· Interviewing and selecting candidates· Coaching, counseling and training staff· Evaluating staff training and development needs· Conducting performance evaluations and salary reviews· Auditing the portfolio to determine compliance, integrity and timeliness of Foreclosure Processing· Implementing new procedures which may be required due to changes in the regulatory environment· Following policies and procedures that the business unit has established to manage risk· Following all required internal-control protocols· Responding to all internal and external Audit requests in an accurate and timely manner· Supporting Countrywide's commitment to compliance by adhering to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and Countrywide Bank's policies and procedures· Reporting all incidence of noncompliance to immediate ManagerA Successful Candidate Will Have:· High school diploma, GED or equivalent· 4-6 years of general Lending experience (with emphasis on Loan Servicing)· 6+ months of supervisory experience· Experience with non-judicial Foreclosure processes in at least one state· Advanced PC skills· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Self-motivation· Effective organizational and time-management skillsThe Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:· College degree· 1+ year(s) of hands-on experience processing (judicial and non-judicial) Conventional and/or Government ForeclosuresCountrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
