The Business Systems Analyst (“BSA”) will provide product expertise of Taleo talent management solution and project management experience to support Union Bank of California’s Talent Acquisition & Staffing (“TAS”) technology system strategy. The BSA will also serve as the Taleo system administrator and will be responsible for all system configurations and ensure that all configurations, service packs and upgrades are properly documented, approved, configured and tested prior to general release. This individual will also play a key, functional role in Taleo upgrades, analysis and design activities as well as troubleshooting and production support for any Taleo related issues. This individual will also be the primary point of contact for developing, executing and maintaining staffing activity reports for TAS.
Major Responsibilities
Manage all system configurations through the Taleo Administrator WebTop. Ensure that all change requests are properly documented, approved, configured, and tested prior to general release Serve as the primary production support for all Taleo related issues. Work with HR Systems and Planning team and Taleo technical support (as needed) to resolve technical issues Partner with Taleo Super Users to assist with troubleshooting or addressing product related questions Responsible for developing, executing and maintaining TAS reports using Taleo Business Objects Serve as the functional lead for Taleo upgrades, service pack implementations and release planning Collaborate with business partners to define and document business and functional requirements for new staffing system tools Partner with technical staff to gather requirements and develop recommendations for new solutions Identify testing scope/ scenarios and prepare and execute test scripts Prepare required documentation and present findings and recommendations as required Assist with the development and delivery of Taleo training to TAS teams Manage projects including the development and maintenance of project plans as needed
Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent work experience
Previous experience as a system administrator for an ATS (Taleo preferred). Experience with implementing Taleo is also desired Strong customer orientation and diligence to troubleshoot technical issues Solid understanding of Business Objects reporting tool and able to develop ad hoc reports Proficient in project management methodology Strong analytical and communication skills Able to analyze business problems and propose effective solutions Able to effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities Working knowledge of HR/Staffing practices and procedures Ensures compliance with Union Bank's business standard of conduct and all regulatory and compliance policies and proceduresUnion Bank of California offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including a 401K plan.
