Systems EngineerDistributed Enterprise Services (Infrastructure Team) seeks a Microsoft Server Windows Systems Engineer with experience with various Microsoft products and services. As part of the Distributed Enterprise Services team, you will work with a team of UNIX, Windows system engineers, architects, administrators, network engineers, and application engineers to maintain and enhance an existing Zions Bancorporation infrastructure. Interfacing corporate-wide with users, management, information security, project management, and change management personnel is critical to success. Responsibilities: All aspects of operational support and engineering including: Help desk tickets Change management process User configuration System maintenance, upgrades, and system integration Will troubleshoot complex problems with root cause analysis Communicate problems and solutions both verbally and in writing to customers and management The position requires individuals to follow standard processes, plan effectively to complete tasks on schedule, and clearly document results. Tasks will be varied and range from day-to-day support of 2nd / 3rd level help desk tickets to assisting with planned updates and improvements to corporate system. Operational requirements of the position will be met by understanding and meeting defined Service Level Agreements. Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices, system updates, and overall technical expertise is essential. Will be part of the 24/7 on-call rotation schedule.
