System Analyst

Lender Processing Services, Inc. (LPS) is a leading provider of integrated technology and services to the mortgage industry. LPS offers solutions that span the mortgage continuum, including lead generation, origination, servicing, portfolio retention and default, augmented by the company's award- winning customer support and professional services.  We seek a System Analyst for our Mendota Heights, Minnesota office.

 

The primary role of the System Analyst will be to develop and maintain resource and capacity planning reports and to alert management to key capacity metrics. Other responsibilities associated with this role will include Active Directory / Exchange account administration, application release coordination, and other network administration responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
oDevelop and Maintain Resource and Capacity Planning reports and documentation by extrapolating and summarizing key resource data from desperate sources.
oAssist management in identifying and measuring key resource thresholds to be used for management decision making.
oCoordinate application releases into production environments, including scheduling, resource identification, Verifying and obtaining appropriate approvals, and collecting and maintaining release documentation
oCreate, Administer, and Terminate Company User Accounts in the Network Active Directory.
oCreate, Administer, and Terminate Company and User Exchange Mail Boxes, Contacts, and distribution lists.
oAssist with the administration and coordination of several key Fidelity Applications.
oAssist in establishing technology based policies and procedures for entire organization.
oProvide second level help desk support for end-users.
oAssist with establishment of network security controls to ensure information contained on FIS-LPS networks is secure, protected.
oAssist with monitoring and changing existing Security Access levels.
oAssist with Network related projects.
oOther duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
o4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o3+ years experience in a Microsoft network environment.
oPrefer certifications in Microsoft core competencies.
oExtensive application support experience.
oWorking knowledge of network protocols and standards.
oWorking knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
oWorking knowledge of hardware and hardware concepts
oKnowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
oAbility to communicate effectively with technical staff and end-users.
oStrong interpersonal skills.
oStrong customer service orientation.
oHighly self-motivated and directed.
oExperience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
oGood organizational skills with ability to prioritize and delegate appropriate workload.
