Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Qualifications Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a major in business, or an advanced degree in a related field. Sitting for professional certification such as CPA, CIA or CISA is also highly encouraged. Zero to three years professional or financial services experience. Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills. Demonstrates assertion and professionalism. Strong work ethic. Works well independently and in a team environment. Knowledge of PC applications, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. Responsibilities Carries out specific sections of major audits under the supervision of an Audit Supervisor or a Senior Staff Auditor. Assesses risk and suggests a risk-based auditing approach to the Audit Supervisor (or Senior Auditor) for the Company's business lines under review. Identifies, analyzes, and concludes upon the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, displaying an understanding of risks and materiality with minimal supervision. Communicates control weaknesses and audit results directly with business-line supervisors/managers. Produces clear, complete, concise, and well-organized work papers that conform to standards. At management's discretion, conducts lower risk audits, leads portions of larger audits/projects, oversees the Assistant Staff Auditors and oversees specific team tasks. Provides ongoing support to the audit team in the department's role of acting as a consultant on risk issues, maintaining partnership relationships with line management, establishing and monitoring early warning systems for high- risk functions, and completing special projects. Represents the Audit Department to business-line management and employees. Assists in providing training to entry level employees through on-the-job training and informal coaching. Provides ongoing constructive and motivational feedback. Contributes to positive team morale, demonstrates professionalism, a strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude.
