Sr. Telecom Engineer
Our client is the undisputed leader of their industry. They are a fast growing, international company with over 2,000 employees and $1 billion in annual revenue. They’ve grown over 20% a year for the past few years by providing quality products and unparalleled service, and they are known for their innovative, state of the art technology. They have excellent benefits, beautiful offices, and a fun, business-casual, team-oriented environment. This position is in their corporate headquarters in the greater Chicago area.
Due to their continued growth they need to add a Senior Telecom Engineer to the team. This position will report to the Telecom Manager, and will be responsible for enterprise-wide design and hands on implementation and production support. This person will maintain their Avaya telephony systems and peripherals including their ACD, CTI, CMS, voicemail and call accounting systems.
At least 6 years of Avaya systems support experience, including at least 3 years in a call center environment, and significant telecom systems design and project management experience, are required. Experience with multiple call center locations/switches, knowledge of datacom and IP networking, and video conferencing systems support experience are all plusses. The more experience you have with ACD, CTI, CMS, voicemail and call accounting systems the better.
The right person for this position will have excellent communication skills, strong troubleshooting skills and a positive "can do" outlook. Compensation includes a salary in the $80 to $95 range and three separate bonus programs. Relocation assistance will be provided.
