To make your mark as the Sr. Corporate Communications Specialist you will: -Be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of employee, internal and change communication strategies for Toyota Financial Services. -Support development of strategic communication plans outlining goals, key stakeholders, objectives, recommended media, expected impact of results, metrics for success and appropriate timelines for key client groups. -Support development of business unit strategic communications in alignment with overall TFS Corporate Communications Strategy. -Write communications, including speeches, letters, and presentations for client leadership group that align with TFS Strategy. -Create and administer production and implementation of all communication plans resulting from the communication strategy. -Develop and grow relationships with key client groups and create environment for success. -Edit communications for accuracy and appropriateness of style and tone in relation to Toyota's corporate culture. -Develop measurement criteria to effectively evaluate communication programs. -Design and implement innovative media methods to reach our associate population. -Manage and support the development of communication tools in partnership with Corporate Communications team. -Serve as project manager and editor of quarterly employee magazine. Assist with and develop content based on TFS business strategy linked to corporate values, culture and brand. Partner with design on creative and visual approach. -Create and manage content in a variety of internal communication channels including internal websites, corporate brochures and displays. -Research and write executive speeches and compile presentations for executives and employees for associate events. Candidates invited for in-person interviews will be required to provide a writing sample and be asked to take a writing test. The candidate who fills this position will work a 9/80 alternative schedule which means working 80 hours over nine calendar days, with the tenth day off. The day off will be alternating Fridays. Qualifications TFS is looking for individuals with strong business sense and practical expertise. Successful candidates must have: -Five to seven years of professional level employee communications, change communications, or related work experience. -Able to effectively communicate, write quality copy for publications and executive communications. -Ability to research, understand, translate and educate employees about the business strategy and issues through the creation of compelling, relevant messages in a variety of formats including executive speeches, letters and presentations. -Ability to think logically and strategically to support communication planning in partnership with clients and Corporate Communications team. -Experience contributing to internal company publications. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, creative, project management experience. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targeted deadlines. -Experience working in an unstructured environment while creating new systems and processes. -Undergraduate degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field. Masters degree preferred. -Working knowledge of MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word) Toyota Financial Services rewards both individual and organizational results with well-balanced compensation, benefits and perquisite programs.
