Sr Business Risk Analyst

For more information, visit www.prudential.com This position supports the objectives of the business group by helping to ensure that an effective and efficient risk management program is maintained, as well as ensuring that compliance issues are appropriately addressed. Support will include, but will not be limited to: assistance with the evaluation/analysis of processes, management reporting, implementation of compliance oversight procedures, risk management and control awareness training and proactive risk management. Efforts are geared toward ensuring that compliance and operational risks are well managed and operations are well controlled. At the direction of the Vice President, Risk Management, works with business group staff to proactively identify areas of compliance and operational risk across processes or functional units and initiate evaluation and analysis. Coordinates or assists with business unit wide risk identification, measurement and monitoring activities. Implements compliance oversight procedures. Maps workflow and analyzes risks and controls across processes or functional units. Reviews and analyzes transactions for compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Assists with the development of meaningful management information reporting and key risk indicators. Participates in the implementation of large-scale control initiatives, including workflow mapping, procedural development and documentation. Monitors progress and reports status to senior management on business group risk management and control initiatives. Assists business group management in the development and implementation of appropriate control standards and reviews and recommend appropriate sanctions as a result of business practices investigations.This position can be located in Scottsdale, AZ. Education: Bachelor Degree (Risk Management, Finance, Accounting or Business) or equivalent work experience required. Related leadership experience in compliance, audit or risk preferred. CPA/CA/CISA/PMP certifications desiredMasters or other advanced degrees desired.
