No one can do what Countrywide can.SM" * As ranked for 2005 by Inside Mortgage Finance (Jan. 27, 2006), © 2006** As ranked for 2005 by Inside Mortgage Finance (Jan. 27, 2006), © 2006  Special Loan Service Technician, Senior  Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Monitoring the daily functions of the department related to the proper servicing of Special Products and Maturing Balloon-Loans·  Managing the daily, established workload established·  Assisting in the auditing of other staff-members’ work·  Training·  Compiling department statistics·  Supervising department activities in the Team Leader's absence·  Coordinating timely and accurate completion of audits·  Reviewing technician's daily work·  Ensuring compliance with standards and company procedures·  Participating in the development of training materials for the team and other departments ·  Representing the department and its needs in various meetings   A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  High school diploma or GED ·  3+ years loan servicing experience—preferably in mortgage banking or customer-service environment·  Extensive knowledge of Special-Loan Products, ARMS, Balloon Loans and general Loan-Servicing procedures·  Strong math skills·  10-key (by touch) skills·  Proficiency in Excel, Word and On-Line Servicing systems·  Effective comprehension, listening  and communication skills·  Effective time-management skills and the ability to meet strict investor-deadlines·  Organizational, follow-up and multi-tasking skills   The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:·  Completion of some college coursework   Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
