Small Business Underwriting/Scoring Manager

Immediate opening at our corporate headquarters in downtown Providence.  Responsible for overseeing the small business loan approval process to include underwriting small business loans utilizing Bank 2 Business/Fair Isaac scoring system.  Must have experience with various SBA guaranty loan programs.  This is a “hands onâ€� management position. In addition to the application process, this position is responsible for managing the loan documentation as well as the closing process. Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly reports on small business lending activities such as pipeline reports, exception reports and statistical reviews.  Minimum of three years small business lending experience including loan scoring.  Knowledge of SBA policies, procedures and loan documentation.  Experience in analyzing and structuring credits with strong organizational and communication skills.  Previous management experience preferred.  College degree and/or equivalent training.
